Finding Opportunities

While most of your bookings will come from institutions discovering your profile, bqqk also provides tools for you to explore opportunities proactively.

How Authors Get Discovered

The primary way authors receive bookings on bqqk is through institution searches. When an educator searches for an author, they can filter by:

  • Location — Distance from their institution
  • Age Range — Target audience match
  • Price Range — Budget compatibility
  • Availability — When they need the visit
  • Presentation Type — Assembly, classroom, virtual, etc.

To maximize your discoverability:

  • Keep your profile complete and up-to-date
  • Set accurate availability in your calendar
  • Be clear about your pricing and travel preferences
  • Add quality photos and media to stand out
